Really.

    Some E-cards Worth Sending

Certainly, not for those who doesn't have a stomach for crude humour, well, definitely, not me. Some very hilarious yet simple ecards worth sending when, as they said it, "when you care enough to hit send".

A couple of the ecards for sampling below.

Passchendaele 1917: The Story Of The Fallen

The well-documented Battles of Passchendaele (AKA Third Battle of Ypres) in 1917 was recently brought back to life with some intricately hand-touched (and thereby coloured) photographs, which in itself, are astonishingly enough.

Passchendaele 1917: The Story Of The Fallen, by Frank Bostyn and Jan Van Der Fraeden is published by Pen & Sword, were released to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the battle that, between July and November 1917, claimed a staggering 2,121 lives a day and in total some quarter of a million Allied soldiers.

Check out more of the photo right here.

    Ichi The Killer

Thing is, I've just finished watching Ichi The Killer last night (extremely in-depth review, with lotsa pictures right here), and thought it is indeed a very cool movie to share, despite the abysmal special effects and weird endings we have come to expect from Japanese movie.

Nonetheless, an exciting feature not for the squeamish (notably so, from the below cut scene picture), well, what do you expect from the maker of "Audition"?

    Mr Freeze

A Belgian man appeared in court on Friday after a woman at his dinner party found the bodies of his wife and stepson in the freezer as she put away the leftovers, prosecutors said.

The woman went to the police after discovering the 46-year-old woman and her 11-year-old son and officers arrested the man in the town of Verviers, near Liege in east Belgium, on Wednesday.

An alternate take on Mr Freeze's origin, in a generally darker reality in the entire multiverse...

    Chinese Folklore Revitalised

So it seems, Chinese folklore kinda getting all the attraction lately.
A series of, intriguingly choreographed photograph taken by Chinese photographer, Liu Zheng, which, indisputably, is a hotbed of controversy, with the, post-modern (or some might call, pornographic) take on traditional Chinese folklore.

    Gorillaz Meets The Monkey God

Monkey: Journey to the West is a stage adaptation of the Chinese legend Journey to the West, by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, the co-creators of virtual band Gorillaz, and Chen Shi-zheng. It received its world premiere at the 2007 Manchester International Festival, on June 28, 2007 at the Palace Theatre, Manchester; it was the Festival's opening show.
    Gorillaz Meets The Monkey God

"Whether you understand a single thing that is happening on stage or not (and hopefully the subtitles will work much better after these teething problems), Monkey: Journey To The West is a feast for the eyes and for the ears."
